Virtual Engagement Conferencing How It Works Vet

Over the next couple of weeks we are going to get into the nitty gritty details of Virtual Engagement Conferencing (VEC).  Jackson and I will go into a few strategies and best practices on how to approach setting up and hosting the most successful virtual event you can while also looping you into a few behind the scenes “tips” that can really help your event shine.  Basically, we are going to show you the to-dos and then give you a little bit of that secret sauce to knock the event out of the park.  Exciting stuff!

Let me go ahead and break down a few of the topics we are going to cover and why they are important for anyone looking to setup their own virtual event.  Depending on the nature of your event some of these items will not apply to you.  By the end of this series, however, you should be able to understand what you need to know to host a virtual tradeshow, job fair, sales kickoff, or anything else you can imagine.  What we hope to do is enable you to visualize your idea as a virtual experience and understand why it would be awesome to host that event with Lighthouse!

Here are the topics we are going to cover:

Event Sponsorship

This has been a HUGE topic for us lately.  Not only are customers looking to recoup some expenses for these large events, they are looking to add more credibility by having well known sponsors attached to their event.  Virtual Environments offer a number of options for sponsorship, from individual booth sponsorships to main hall banners and even gamification that allows sponsors to engage with the participants directly.  We will touch on all this and some strategies that we have found that work for our customers when going out to market and finding and engaging with sponsors.

Top 5 questions to ask when considering a Virtual Environment

This is still pretty new technology.  People know they want them, but a lot of times they are not sure what to ask when going out shopping.  We will outline the 5 most important questions to ask yourself and potential vendors when considering Virtual Engagement Conferencing.

Technical Needs

Yup, we have to do it.  We have to help you out when it comes to basic technical specifications for Virtual Engagement Conferencing.  Sorry.  It’s not the most glamorous topic.  I think I’ll let Jackson write that one since he nailed this one and this one.

The Lighthouse Virtual Engagement Conferencing Overview

This is the meaty one.  This is our “how to” document for all things virtual.  We are going to make our document available for download so you can have the best user guide out there to reference when purchasing, scheduling, and hosting a virtual event.  This is a big one.  If you have seen our webinar guide you know we take these things very seriously.

Well, that’s a start.  By the time we are finished with this series you should be able to visualize your event, understand what sort of resources you need to host a successful event, and be prepared to make sure you pick the right partner to work with.  Virtual Engagement Conferencing is one of the most exciting platforms available today to share big ideas with the world and the team at Lighthouse is ready to help you understand what is out there and how to best leverage virtual events for your business!
